Neil Grigg Millinery Intensive

Neil Grigg Millinery Intensive

3th 4th February 2018

“Autumn Racewear a la Neil”

Working with a blocked dome crown shape in felt, Neil will run you through your paces of manipulating and hand finishing your headpiece (with a focus on traditional millinery technique).

Over the course of the 2 day workshop we will also study 3 different, suitable sample trims,  with construction points specifically looking for line and balance.

These will include:

  • a fabulous feather motif
  • a beautiful, hand finished bow trim in taffeta or other crisp fabric
  • and a stylish, hand finished floral trim to match your headpiece

By the end of the weekend, you will have created a gorgeous, fashion felt headpiece, suitable for the up coming Autumn Racing Carnival.
